Cancellation Policy

Booking, Cancellation, and Community Policy Payment is required at registration to reserve a seat. Because space and table availability are limited, unpaid spots may be released to another player. Accepted payment methods may vary by event. Open Play Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the event are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours and no-shows are nonrefundable. Lessons Lesson payments are nonrefundable. With advance notice, payment may be transferred to a future lesson. No-shows are not eligible for a refund, transfer, or make-up lesson. Special Events Tournaments, automatic-table events, special-location events, and other ticketed experiences may have separate cancellation and refund terms. Please review the policy listed on the specific event page before registering. If a participant registers, does not pay, and does not attend, payment for the reserved seat may be required before registering for another event. If Craks, Bams, and Friends cancels an open play event or lesson, a full refund will be issued. Gameplay and Community Guidelines Games are played according to National Mah Jongg League rules using the current NMJL card. Players are expected to follow standard American Mahjong gameplay and table etiquette. Craks, Bams, and Friends welcomes players of all backgrounds and skill levels. Respectful and inclusive behavior is required. To maintain a comfortable environment, please avoid political discussions, hate speech, discriminatory comments, and other divisive or inappropriate topics during events. Players should arrive on time whenever possible so tables can begin promptly and everyone can enjoy the maximum amount of gameplay. Events may include beginner, intermediate, and experienced players. Patience, kindness, and encouragement are expected as players learn and improve. Unless otherwise noted, Mahjong sets, racks, mats, and NMJL cards are provided. Participants are expected to handle all supplies with care. Craks, Bams, and Friends reserves the right to remove a participant or decline future participation when behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or inconsistent with the welcoming environment of the group. Removal due to inappropriate behavior may occur without a refund. By registering, participants agree to this booking, cancellation, and community policy.
