Cancellation Policy

Booking, Cancellation, and Community Policy Payment is required at registration to reserve your seat. Unpaid spots may be released. Open Play: Cancellations more than 24 hours before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are nonrefundable. Lessons: Payments are nonrefundable. With advance notice, payment may be transferred to a future lesson. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or transfers. Special Events: Tournaments, automatic-table events, and other special events may have separate cancellation policies listed on the event page. Competitive League: Registration is for the full league. A 50% refund is available only if your spot can be filled. You may also find someone to purchase and take over your full league spot. If you need to miss a night, you are responsible for finding a substitute. Please ask friends before contacting Craks, Bams, and Friends for assistance. Your substitute’s scores count toward your league total. Using a substitute for more than one night forfeits your eligibility for league prizes, and substitute(s) have rights to applicable winnings. On-time arrival is required. If a game begins before you or your substitute arrives, you receive a zero for that game. Ties and scoring disputes are resolved at the discretion of Craks, Bams, and Friends, and decisions are final. Social League: Registration is by individual night but is not considered Open Play, as all seats are expected to be filled. A 50% refund is available only if Craks, Bams, and Friends can fill your spot. Registration is non-transferable because each player has an individual Bingo card that remains with them throughout the league. If Craks, Bams, and Friends cancels an event or lesson, a full refund will be issued. Gameplay & Community Guidelines Games follow current National Mah Jongg League rules. Standard gameplay and table etiquette are expected. All players and skill levels are welcome. Respectful and inclusive behavior is required. Please avoid political discussions, hate speech, discriminatory comments, and other divisive or inappropriate topics. Patience and kindness are expected, particularly with different skill levels. Unless otherwise noted, Mahjong supplies are provided and should be handled with care. Craks, Bams, and Friends may remove a participant or decline future participation for disruptive, disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior. Removal may occur without a refund.
